What is Century 21 ®  Send A Kid To Camp Program?

Easter Seals is Century 21 Canada’s charity of choice and has been for over 40 years. C21 Kids to Camp Program , which strives to raise funds to help send kids and youth living with disabilities across the country to Easter Seals’ accessible summer camps.  Since 1979, CENTURY 21 Canada has raised more than $12 million in support of local Easter Seals organizations, and have provided the opportunity for over 5,750 children and youth to enjoy and benefit from transformative and affirming experiences at Easter Seals camps, where they can have fun, push their boundaries in a safe and supportive environment, build and strengthen skills, and cultivate friendships and memories that will last a lifetime.

Casey MacKay Thanks Century 21 Heritage Group

Not only have you, your family and friends faced significant challenges throughout the past couple of years with the pandemic, it's been even more difficult for the kids and their families who live with disabilities.

You have found it in your hearts to continue (and increase) your contributions to Easter Seals. And, on behalf of all of you, Century 21 Heritage Group raised the most money ever in 2021.

For many of the Easter Seals' children/youth, camp is where they make the only friends they have. They can have fun, push their boundaries in a safe and supportive environment, build and strengthen skills, and cultivate friendships and memories that will last a lifetime. They can be themselves without being judged, stared at or made fun of.

For the past couple of summers, camp was held virtually and in some areas day camps were available. Fortunately, the groundwork was laid for the kids to return to regular camp programs and in 2022, regular in-person Summer Camps are open again!

Additionally, the experiences gained from adapting the camp programs due to the pandemic have also opened up new service opportunities for the future: which may continue to include virtual and day camps, in addition to regular in-person, overnight camps, so that more children and youth across the province can benefit from the life-changing and transformative experiences of Easter Seals' accessible and inclusive camps.

This is exciting news!

Red Shirt Day

Wednesday, May 31

December 11, 2021

Brave individuals challenged themselves and changed lives by harnessing up and rappelling 17 storeys down the side of the building at 175 Bloor St E in downtown Toronto to raise funds for children and youth with physical disabilities.

Once again, with everyone's support, we surpassed our fundraising goal! Thank you!

This event ran from May 1 - June 14, 2021. We walked, ran, jogged, strolled, cycled, rolled - however we could to reach a total of 221 km over 45 days and raise money toward the C21 Heritage Group TEAM goal of $10,000.

We smashed our goals and exceeded $18,000 in fundraising and 15 out of 22 team members reached the 221 km goal. It was not an easy goal to reach for many of us. However, as a team we averaged over 235 km each and that's what a true team effort is.

Additionally, there were FIVE participants on the team who reached Golden Heart Award status. Congratulations to all!

A big  THANK YOU to all participants, sponsors, and supporters because the ultimate goal was to help the Easter Seals kids/youth and without all of you, we couldn't have done it.
