Toronto real estate broker Cailey Heaps remembers how worried she was at the start of the pandemic about whether her brokerage would be able to keep its agents employed. “I look back now and I think it is remarkable to me that the pandemic has proven to be the major driver of one of the strongest real estate markets that we’ve ever seen,” she said.
